Volunteer With Northwest Bands

Northwest Bands would not be able to do all that we do without the incredible support of our volunteers! There are many opportunities throughout the year to get involved, meet other band families, and help provide our students with amazing experiences.

Whether you have a few hours to give or want to be more involved throughout the year, there is a place for you!

Band Parent Organization

The Northwest Band Parents Organization (NWBPO) helps support the entire Northwest Band Program. Volunteers are needed to assist with fundraisers, concessions, student activities, events, and other projects throughout the year. You don't have to be a band expert—just a willingness to help is all that's needed!

Band Events

Volunteers are needed at many of our exciting band events, including:

• Football Games & Band Contests– Volunteer to help with uniforms, equipment, and props during performances! Volunteers are needed for Friday night football performances and Saturday competitions.

• Northwest Marching Classic – Volunteer before, during, and after this large marching band competition, including concessions, hospitality, admissions, and event support.

• Blue Note Jazz Festival – Help make this special event a success by assisting with concessions, hospitality, admissions, and other event needs.

• Fundraisers – Help with the Can Shack, 50/50 raffle, Wolf Wearhouse, concessions, and other fundraising activities.

• Other Volunteer Opportunities – There are plenty of ways to lend a hand throughout the season! Help with uniform fittings, student meals, special events, behind-the-scenes needs, and more. Whether you can help once or throughout the year, every bit of support makes a difference!
