Northwest High School Marching Band
The Northwest Royal Brigade is our outdoor performance ensemble at Northwest High School. Consisting of brass, woodwinds, battery percussion, front line percussion, and color guard, all members of the Northwest Band Program participate in the Royal Brigade during first term.
Summer Marching Band Rehearsals
Marching Band begins with summer rehearsals for new marchers, percussion and color guard in May and June, followed by Band Camp during the month of August, which all participants are required to attend. Please mark your calendars now. Additional sectional rehearsals may be scheduled by the section captains.
Fall Marching Band Performances
Once school starts the Royal Brigade rehearses daily in the morning before school at 7:00 am and during band. They perform on Friday evenings at pregame and halftime of all home football games. The Marching Band also competes in 4-6 competitions during the fall term on Saturdays.
