Tom Cronin is in his 21st year of teaching and first year as the 7th/8th grade band teacher at LeMars Community Schools. Prior to this he taught 5th Grade Band and 6th Grade Choir in Harlan from 2014-2025 in addition to directing the HS Jazz Ensemble after school for eight years.

Tom is originally from Marcus Iowa and is a proud graduate of the University of South Dakota. He holds a master’s degree in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music. He has been the guest clinician for several honor band festivals and helps out judging and clinicing area bands and jazz bands when he can. In his spare time he enjoys jumping into projects around the house, cheering on his favorite teams, and staying active while being a dad and husband to wife Rachael and kids Charlotte, Connor, and Henry.
